Bio

The ball started rolling some time in high school. Suburban Chicago, the mid 70’s. Robert Troch started playing sports. Soccer, Wrestling, Track and Field and Cross country. Track and cross country were what he was best at. By the early 80’s Robert moved to Brooklyn to become a rock and roll drummer. Eventually he found the lifestyle to be very unhealthy so he drifted back into running. This time with a vengeance. He set personal records and won a couple of local races. From the mile to the marathon. In 1992, after a particularly stubborn injury, he discovered Ashtanga Yoga. Within 4 years he was teaching the practice and by 1999 he opened a shared studio in Manhattan.
The ball kept rolling and picked up speed. Not satisfied with only a Yoga practice Robert went on to become a certified Intrafitt nutritional and exercise instructor. A certified RKC (Russian Kettlebell Instructor), a certified level 1 USA track and Field coach opened his own business Institute of Injury Free Athletics. He has worked extensively with many private clients and led a class at the New York Times for 6 years.
Now that ball is picking up more speed. In 2007 Robert produced his first short film called Showdown of the Godz featuring the legendary George Takei of Star Trek. Last year he and his partner Chuck Reina formed Transistor Films. Fusion Fitness TV is the first online Tv show produced by Transistor Films. Robert is 49 years old and is constantly tweaking his exercise and nutrition program to slow down the approach of father time.
